"As a native of California, I never thought my first surfing experience would be in Israel. But Tel Aviv is blessed with beautiful beaches, and in August 2008, I signed up for a private two-hour surfing lesson with one of the instructors from Topsea. It was a wonderful experience, and my only regret is that I could not have stayed in the water longer (I would have, but my body ached and I had a plane to catch). The friendly instructor was very patient with me, and very good about giving detailed instructions. There’s destined to be a lot of falls when one first tries surfing, and while I did fall, I did succeed in “getting up” a number of times. Whenever I return to Israel, and I hope it will be soon, another lesson from Topsea will be at the top of my “to do” list.”
